Throughout Christmas in July, Jingle & Mingle Brisbane 2026 brought together Scene to Believe’s Brisbane Santa community for a special celebration of connection, friendship and the people behind the magic of Christmas.
The Scene to Believe Santa community is made up of people from all walks of life who share one thing in common — a passion for creating meaningful moments for children and families.
From retirees and grandparents to teachers, tradies, business owners and people discovering a new opportunity after finishing their careers, Santa Characters come from diverse backgrounds and bring their own unique stories to the role.
At Jingle & Mingle Brisbane 2026, Santa Characters had the chance to reconnect with fellow Santas, welcome new members and celebrate the friendships that continue long after the Christmas season ends.
For many members of the community, becoming a Santa Character is not just a seasonal role — it becomes an opportunity to find connection, purpose and belonging.
We see people join from all different backgrounds and stages of life. They come for the role, but they stay because of the friendships, the connection and the sense of purpose they find through the community.
Proudly Supporting Movember
Giving back is an important part of the Scene to Believe Santa community. Alongside creating magical Christmas experiences for children and families, our Santa Characters are passionate about making a positive impact beyond the festive season.
We’re proud that all proceeds from Jingle & Mingle Brisbane 2026 were donated to Movember, supporting their work in men’s health, mental wellbeing and suicide prevention.
The event was a celebration of connection, friendship and community — values that align closely with the importance of looking after one another and creating supportive spaces where people can feel connected and valued.
More Than a Santa Role: The Community Behind the Beard
While many people associate Santa with Christmas, the Scene to Believe Santa community is built throughout the entire year.
Santa Characters stay connected through annual community events, Santa Sip & Chats and monthly zoom meetings that allow Santas across Australia and New Zealand to share experiences and support each other.
These connections create a welcoming environment where new Santa Characters can learn from experienced Santa Characters and where lifelong friendships can develop.
Jingle & Mingle Brisbane 2026 was a celebration of this year-round Santa community and the people who make it so special.
