After a challenging couple of years due to COVID, it’s looking like the 2022 Christmas events season is going to be one of Scene to Believe’s biggest and best yet.
At this stage of the season, it’s looking like the number of Christmas Event bookings will return to, or even surpass, pre-COVID levels. That’s according to Stefan Hutton, Scene to Believe Managing Director.
“Because of the impacts of COVID, many of our clients simply haven’t been able to hold their usual Christmas events over the last couple of years. It’s great to see these clients coming back and organising even bigger and better Christmas events this year!”
COVID challenges drive innovation
According to Mr Hutton, even though the last two Christmas seasons have been “extremely challenging”, they have also brought about positive changes.
“Over the last two years, the health and safety of our customers and employees was always our number one priority, but there was a whole range of challenges. From social distancing requirements, mask-wearing mandates, staff shortages, to constantly changing health requirements in each Australian state and territory, plus New Zealand.
I’m really proud of the way our team was able to adapt and respond to the challenges and still deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and customers”.
“As a business, COVID forced us to adapt and respond quickly. In some ways, our responses have actually helped to improve our customer experience and business processes”.

Online bookings and training to stay
The development of an online booking system is one COVID adaptation that has resulted in improved experience.
“COVID forced us to implement an online booking system to maintain social distancing at our sets by eliminating queuing. This is an improvement to our service offering that will continue even after COVID”.
Another of Scene to Believe’s COVID adaptations has been the development of an online training system.
“COVID prevented us from holding our usual face-to-face employee training sessions in the lead-up to the Christmas season. We were forced to come up with an online training solution to provide necessary training to over 2,000 staff across Australia and New Zealand. This has also been positive as employees can now complete their training at home in their own time”.

Now's the time to book your Christmas Event!
“After the challenges of the last couple of years, the entire team at Scene to Believe is looking forward to creating even more Christmas magic and joy than ever before”.
