July wrapped up with a bunch of Santas coming together around Australia, Account Managers enjoying their Kick Off Meeting in Sydney to plan for an exciting season ahead, and the rollout of new company-wide programs with all hands on deck! Most of our Area Managers are now recruited, and our first round of Sydney-based training is just around the corner.

JINGLE & MINGLE 2025
WOW! What an absolutely amazing turnout for Jingle & Mingle in July!
We had lights, camera, action—and even the media couldn’t resist our fun, with news coverage across Australia and New Zealand showing off our Santa Teams. From Ho, Ho, Ho competitions and impressive guitar solos, questionable Santa dance moves, and poses that’ll make the Nice List blush! We had so much food the Santa belts were hanging on for dear life and the days were filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
A huge shoutout to the fabulous Viviana, whose dedication and energy brought everyone together and truly lit up the room with the spirit of Santa. We’re still not sure how she did it—but we suspect elf magic (and maybe caffeine).
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the Santas who joined us—your stories, smiles, and warmth reminded us just how important your role is in creating magical moments for every visitor.
And a special thank you to the behind-the-scenes dream team—whether you were lugging Santa suits, working the green screen, or performing the ancient art of set-up and pack-down—we see you; we thank you, and we owe you a big cookie (if there’s any left…).

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
The Account Management team has been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re thrilled to say — the 2025 season is shaping up to be one of our best yet!
We’ve been collaborating closely with our National Learning Manager to roll out refreshed training updates that will set our teams up for success. But that’s not all — we’ve also been crafting new and exciting experience additions designed to elevate the magic in every moment (we’ll be sharing more on this in upcoming newsletters… so stay tuned 👀).
Now, we’re starting to hit the ground running — reconnecting with clients in centres, reigniting those relationships, and helping lay the groundwork for an unforgettable season ahead.
The spirit is high, the energy is building, and we’re ready to lead our teams into a season filled with sparkle, joy, and a whole lot of holiday magic. Let’s make 2025 one to remember! 🌟

THE STB EVENTS TEAM
Our Account Management team has been busy fielding event enquiries and locking in an exciting line-up for the second half of the year. With the support from Becca and Reggie, it’s shaping up to be a great season.
For those who haven’t had the chance to work with them yet, let us introduce the incredible team behind our events and graduations:
Becca, our Operations & Events Manager, and Regina (aka Reggie), our Events & Graduations Manager.
These two work hand-in-hand to bring every event to life — from large-scale graduations to centre activations and everything in between. With Becca’s big-picture planning and Reggie’s focus on execution, they’re the driving force behind our most memorable moments.
In the past six months, a lot of this work has fallen to our Account Managers — but now, with the Events Team fully on board, we’re in a stronger position than ever to deliver even more standout experiences.
Check out the fun that has been had so far this year from roaming Easter Bunny photography and Mother’s Day portraits across three states to adorable pet photo sessions and the buzz of footy fans at the MCG, the momentum is only growing.

MEET CHRISTINE
We’re thrilled to introduce the broader team to Christine Carey in her new role as National Learning & Account Manager! Christine is taking the lead in developing fresh, interactive training material to help elevate our team’s skills and success.
This year brings exciting changes to both our onboarding system and our Learning Management System (LMS) — so stay tuned for big announcements and improvements coming your way!
Christine is also making it a priority to hear from the team. She’s reached out to returning Set Managers across Australia and New Zealand to create a SEM Focus Group, designed to gather feedback on our current on-set training. This feedback will help shape a more supportive, engaging, and effective training experience for all set staff.
Christine’s passion is clear: she’s committed to creating a training journey that’s inviting, empowering, and builds confident, knowledgeable teams for a strong and successful season ahead. We can’t wait to see the improvements to come and hear the teams feedback.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM HQ
Some great wins and solid progress happening at STB this month!
Bear Cottage – STB supported Bear Cottage’s Superhero Party by donating a green screen photo booth. A small way we could help bring smiles to a truly special place doing incredible work for families. Thanks Regi, Becca and team.
The business has donated $50,000 to the Butterfly Foundation, raised through our various business lines — a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible
Graduations – Jim has locked in a new regalia supply contract and secured AIB for another 3-year term, which includes a client-funded stage photo for every graduate.
Events – Some exciting jobs coming through. Jackie L and Christine are on a roll!
Account Managers – All in the office last week, but it’s a lot quieter now 😄. Between them, the team has almost 90 seasons of Santa experience. That’s one experienced team!
Tech Upgrades – Max, Reece and co. continue to invest and upgrade – all for the better!
Jingle & Mingle – Huge shoutout to Michelle and the team for doing a fantastic job getting all those Santa suits out at J&M.
